Introduction to the Belt and Road International Cooperation Development (Shenzhen) Research Institute (BRRI) The Belt and Road International Cooperation Development (Shenzhen) Research Institute (BRRI), initiated by the Wu Xiaolan Charity Foundation and Shenzhen University, is a new type of civilian think tank established in collaboration with the Shenzhen University China Special Economic Zone Research Center, which is a key research base for humanities and social sciences under the Ministry of Education. BRRI closely follows the national Belt and Road strategy and leverages the abundant academic resources, talent advantages, and broad network of domestic and international university think tanks of higher education institutions. It focuses on the study of history, culture, politics, economy, institutional law, folk customs, beliefs, and international relations of countries along the Belt and Road routes, aiming to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of national and corporate Belt and Road projects. The Talent Enhancement Program of the Belt and Road is developed by the BRRI with the goal of serving the implementation of the national “Belt and Road” initiative. This program delves into areas such as cultural exchange, business cooperation, educational consultation, resource matching, and study visits. It is meticulously crafted to offer all-around professional and personalized talent development programs for individuals who have specific needs, covering fields such as continuing education, policy interpretation, business tours, cultural experiences, degree courses, and more. Introduction to the Guangdong Province Educational Science and Culture Academy Founded in 2021 in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Province Educational Science and Culture Academy aims to embody the spirit of UNESCO and promote its theories and practices in China within five major working directions: education, science and technology, commerce, humanities, and sustainable development. The Academy adheres to the central government's principle of inheriting and developing fine traditional Chinese culture, enhancing cultural awareness, and strengthening cultural confidence. With Hong Kong as an international gateway, it seeks to advance the global dissemination of Chinese culture, deepen the understanding of cultural diversity, and promote the integration of concepts between Eastern and Western cultural exchanges. It strives to form consensus documents on education that are scientific, pragmatic, and forward-looking; become a platform for educational exchange with global brand effects; and emerge as a Chinese educational think tank with global influence.
